Job Summary

As an Executive Sous Chef at Datadog, you will play a key role in supporting successful culinary operations with a strong emphasis on commissary and catering services. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑quality corporate dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute daily culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and service
  • Deliver exceptional guest and client experiences through high-quality food and presentation
  • Lead, train, and manage a culinary team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and engagement
  • Partner with culinary and marketing teams to roll out new culinary programs and concepts
  • Assist with cost controls, including inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational success

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
  • Background in fine dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or higher education food service
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, production techniques, sanitation standards, food safety, cost controls, and presentation
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, and comfort using technology in daily operations
