Position Title: Food and Beverage Manager

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000

Welcome to Moss, a new and inspired kind of members club where New Yorkers of all types gather in the shared pursuit of intelligent leisure and physical culture.  We’ve crafted a home away from home at the center of Manhattan with five floors of spaces for all the ways you spend your time—connecting and disconnecting, engaging and unwinding. 
 
The Role:
You’ll assist in managing all F&B operations, lead and mentor FOH staff, ensure service consistency, and uphold quality and safety standards. You’ll be overseeing service on the floor and working closely with the FOH leadership team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while managing resources efficiently. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Go above and beyond for all members of the club on a daily basis to provide an exceptional experience.
  • Support daily food service operations in line with budget and quality goals
  • Oversee service and floor operations, directing and working with all FOH positions 
  • Lead and train associates, focusing on service standards, steps of service, to deliver outstanding hospitality.
  • Assist with weekly scheduling of different departments.
  • Maintain superior food and service standards for members and guests  
  • Build strong relationships with staff, members, and other departments 
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies 
  • Contribute to scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and operational controls 
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of hospitality experience, experience in luxury settings is a plus
  • At least 1 year of FOH management experience
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills  
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer skills
