Job Summary
The Global Finance Partner for Restaurant Associate at Bloomberg is a results-oriented finance role that reports directly to the VP of Finance with a dotted line responsibility to the Global Account Director. You will work closely with Operations and Clients, analyzing and driving results to achieve annual key performance indicators. This role serves as a financial advisor and business partner to their operational counterparts across a global portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Laise with local financial and operations teams to create forecasts and budgets for client and assist with presentations to Sr Management.
• Present financial results to clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Analyze historical results to identify drivers to budget variances and update forecasts based on those drivers.
• Serve as the contractual subject matter expert and ensure compliance on all financial contract matters.
• Work closely with operations to prepare action plans to resolve financial variances.
• Assist in client communications in coordination with the GAD.
• Track DSO for client and work with operators to ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Perform reconciliation and analysis for key balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely resolution of accounting/reconciliation issues by working closely with Field Accounting team.
• Conduct Internal Control Reviews at each unit within region annually and ensure audit report recommendations are implemented promptly
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• A minimum of 5 years experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities
• Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial information
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
