Job Summary
Essential Job Responsibilities
Event Execution & Operations
- Oversee day‑to‑day catering operations, including breakfast, lunch, receptions, and executive dining events
- Ensure accurate setup, presentation, service, and breakdown of catering functions in accordance with banquet event orders (BEOs)
- Act as the on‑site lead for events in the absence of the Senior Catering Manager
- Maintain consistent service standards and professional presentation for all catering functions
Client & Guest Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal clients and executive assistants during events
- Address guest needs and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure VIP and executive‑level service standards are consistently met
Team Leadership
- Supervise catering service staff, including servers, bartenders, and event attendants
- Assist with staff training on service standards, hospitality etiquette, and operational procedures
- Support daily staff scheduling and labor coordination
Event Coordination
- Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and communicate event details to culinary and service teams
- Coordinate food service timing, room setups, and equipment needs
- Ensure event spaces are properly staged and reset for future functions
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with inventory management of catering supplies, linens, service ware, and beverages
- Support billing, event reconciliation, and operational reporting as needed
- Maintain compliance with company safety, sanitation, and operational policies
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in catering, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to supervise and support service staff effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate dining, hotel banquets, or high‑volume catering environments
- Proficiency with hospitality or catering management systems
