Job Summary
Job Summary:
The QA manager will mainly focus on all food safety and workplace safety of RA employees, maintaining compliance to all local , state and federal health codes. The QA Manager will follow up on any accident reports or food related incidence consistent with the food program and ensure sanitation standards are met for the food safety of all associates. Serve as a liaison between building services and vendor partners to communicate immediate health risks and facility issues. Maintain all Health permits per unit.
This role is based in New York, New York. Opportunity to support remotely other accounts in Boston, Denver and San Franciso.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct unit training on food safety for associates and manager
- Understands and promotes Company food philosophy, sustainability commitments.
- Develops, implements, and/or tracks effectiveness of food sanitation and safety standards for all units/floors of service
- Assist in providing corrective action plans and solutions with chefs, managers and associates
- Assist in following up to complaints regarding food borne illness and food related injuries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) preferred not required.
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required.
- Five (5) to ten years general Kitchen work with related experience in college, restaurant and business environments required.
- General Hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
- Knowledge of local and state Health Code, clear understanding of HACCP.
- ServSafe certified and possess a valid DOH Food Protection card.
