Job Summary

The Restaurant Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving private dining and special event sales in a fine dining environment, with a focus on encouraging luxury client relationships and delivering an outstanding guest experience. This role is highly sales-driven, emphasizing prospecting, networking, and closing high-value business, while providing light execution support to ensure seamless communication between clients and the restaurant’s culinary and operations teams. Success requires a polished presence, refined hospitality skills, and the ability to represent the restaurant’s brand at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new private dining and event business through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Build and nurture relationships with luxury clients, corporate partners, and high-profile guests to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, curating bespoke experiences that reflect the sophistication of the restaurant.
  • Develop sophisticated proposals, contracts, and event orders with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and service leaders to tailor menus and event designs that exceed client expectations.
  • Provide light on-site presence during events to host clients and ensure flawless service, while supporting the execution team as needed.
  • Represent the restaurant at industry functions, client events, and community gatherings to elevate brand presence.
  • Partner with marketing to promote luxury private dining offerings, ensuring alignment with the restaurant’s image and reputation.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and post-event reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven success in fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-end private dining sales.
  • Established network of corporate, social, and high-profile clientele preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a refined, client-focused approach.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive hospitality environment.
  • Ability to curate tailored experiences and anticipate client needs at the highest level of service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Professional polish and presence, with the ability to represent the restaurant brand to discerning clients.
