Marcel is more than a restaurant; it is a multi-faceted experience with multiple outlets. Together, these outlets form a destination where hospitality, cuisine, design, and art converge.
The Restaurant Manager will be a hands-on leader on the floor, ensuring that service is seamless, standards are upheld, and every guest interaction reflects the soul of Marcel. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in high-volume luxury dining, values old-school hospitality, and leads with composure, warmth, and attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations within the restaurant and support service across multiple outlets as needed
- Lead by example on the floor, embodying refined, gracious hospitality during service
- Train, mentor, and support staff to uphold luxury service standards and detailed steps of service
- Partner with the GM, AGM, and culinary leadership to align service with Marcel’s fine dining vision
- Maintain guest relations with professionalism, handling concerns with discretion and solution-oriented leadership
- Support financial performance through cost control, purchasing, and scheduling
- Assist with private, semi-private, and hosted dining activations in collaboration with the events team
- Ensure all safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards are consistently maintained
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years of fine dining restaurant management experience
- Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge with an interest in pairing and luxury service
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, detail-driven environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a guest-first mindset
- Experience with financial accountability, including scheduling and purchasing
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with hospitality operations
- A passion for refined hospitality, precision, and creating memorable guest experiences
