Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Bar Manager to oversee bar operations at the University of Oklahoma. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of bar services, including scheduling, inventory, stocking, and administrative paperwork. The Bar Manager will work closely with both the Concessions and Premium departments throughout the year to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of service for all guests. This is an hourly position with an hourly rate of $21 an hour.

Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage for events and daily operations.

Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

Ensure all bar areas are properly stocked and organized prior to events.

Maintain accurate records of sales, invoices, and other required paperwork.

Train, supervise, and support bar staff to uphold exceptional service and compliance with company standards.

Assist the Concessions and Premium departments with bar operations, event support, and logistics as needed.

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and liquor laws and regulations.

Monitor performance, provide feedback, and assist in recruiting seasonal bar staff.

Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a leadership role within bar or beverage operations.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Knowledge of inventory control and bar stock management.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days.

Familiarity with Oklahoma liquor laws and licensing requirements is a plus.
