Job Summary
Are you a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading high-performing teams? We are seeking a Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and drive operational excellence.
In this role, you will lead and develop a team, ensure the highest standards of food quality and service, manage financial performance, and create a welcoming dining experience for every guest. If you're passionate about people, food, and delivering outstanding service, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of food service associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring efficiency, quality, and an outstanding guest experience.
- Plan, promote, and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and café initiatives.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage inventory, labor, and operating expenses while meeting budget and financial goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure company policies and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Build a positive, collaborative team culture focused on hospitality and service excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of management or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Experience in one or more of the following environments: restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, higher education, healthcare, military dining, or other high-volume food service operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and food service operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer applications.
- ServSafe Certification or Department of Health Food Safety Certification is preferred.
