Eurest, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a passionate, people-focused Assistant General Manager to help lead the VIP Delta Sky Club at Nashville International Airport (BNA).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a premium airport hospitality environment where Southern hospitality meets elevated service. As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll provide hands-on leadership for daily lounge operations, coach and develop a high-performing team, and ensure operational, culinary, financial, safety, and brand standards are consistently achieved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in leading daily Delta Sky Club operations while driving exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
- Support a premium food, beverage, and hospitality experience with a focus on quality, presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop team members while building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership across guest services, food and beverage, staffing, inventory, and operational compliance.
- Partner with leadership, airport stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless lounge operations.
- Monitor labor, expenses, productivity, inventory, and service standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with guests, team members, clients, and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with company, airport, health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule and open availability required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
- 2 to 4 years of food service, hospitality, restaurant, or related management experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
- Experience in upscale or premium hospitality, including restaurants, hotels, airport lounges, private clubs, bars, or corporate dining.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, food safety, quality, presentation, and guest experience.
- Financial acumen with experience managing labor, expenses, budgets, inventory, and operational performance.
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology used to support daily operations.
- Associate degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, developing people, and creating memorable guest experiences.
