FOOD AND NUTRITION FIELD PROJECT MANAGER, HOSPITALS / HEALTHCARE
Reports to: Regional Director of Operations

Job Summary
The Food & Nutrition Services Project Engineer (PE) is an experienced foodservice management professional supporting the Nashville market. Reporting to the Regional Director, the Project Engineer does not have direct reports and will typically work a Monday–Friday schedule. This role may require occasional evening or weekend work based on project needs. The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting operational excellence across accounts and may perform audits, re-engineer existing processes, deliver training, and lead various operational, program development, and troubleshooting initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly experienced and fully proficient in Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships at all levels of client, customer, and company organizations
- Manage multiple priorities and business objectives to drive client and customer satisfaction
- Collect and analyze operational data (e.g., occupancy, volume) to develop staffing models aligned with industry standards, company benchmarks, and experience
- Identify operational “hot spots” and develop actionable improvement plans to address quality and service gaps
- Implement TouchPoint programs in accordance with company standards, proposals, and cost expectations
- Conduct operational audits as needed
- Provide hands-on support, training, and guidance to on-site management teams
- Deliver orientation and management training, including systems and day-to-day operational practices
- Support business needs as directed by the Vice President, including transitions, marketing/communications, and operational initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Foodservice management experience required; healthcare experience in a hospital environment is strongly preferred
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong operational focus
- Must be based in (or willing to relocate to) the Nashville area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
