Assistant General Manager- Corporate Dining

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000

Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager supports the day‑to‑day operations of a designated corporate dining account, ensuring exceptional service, strong operational execution, and effective team leadership. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and a hands‑on leadership style focused on hospitality and staff development.
 
This position is primarily Monday through Friday, with most shifts occurring during standard business hours. Occasional nights or weekends may be required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the corporate dining account to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality and service to clients, guests, and team members
  • Train, coach, and manage staff to company standards and client expectations
  • Provide operational leadership to ensure food quality, safety, and service excellence
  • Perform HR‑related functions including hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, counseling, and terminations
  • Support a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of foodservice operations experience
  • Prior experience leading teams in a high‑volume or corporate dining environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Desire to learn, grow, and advance with a top‑tier foodservice organization
