Job Summary
The Café & Pantry Manager oversees two cafés including a full-service coffee bar, la carte services, sushi counter, and associated pantry services within Morgan Stanley’s Global Headquarters. This role is responsible for the daily setup, presentation, execution, and performance of breakfast and lunch service across hot and cold offerings—while maintaining exceptional standards of organization, cleanliness, and guest experience.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who acts like an owner of the space: organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and proud of how the operation looks, feels, and performs every day.
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Two cafés within the global headquarters
- Daily breakfast and lunch service (hot & cold)
- Café and pantry presentation across multiple floors
- Menu accuracy, pars, inventory, and execution consistency
- Team leadership, food safety, and operational discipline
What the Day-to-Day Looks Like:
- Oversee daily operations of two cafés and pantry service areas
- Lead and support a team of 10 team members
- Ensure timely and accurate setup of breakfast and lunch service
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and organization
- Own all menu updates, pars, ordering, and inventory management
- Partner with Sustainability and Marketing leads on café presentation and floor readiness
- Uphold safe food handling, sanitation, and company compliance standards
- Proactively identify issues and take initiative to resolve them
- Ensure cafés feel welcoming, polished, and well-run throughout service
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to standards
