Job Summary
R/A is seeking a passionate, engaged People Talent Manager to join this busy, high profile corporate account. Our People & Talent manager is pivotal to helping our leadership teams cultivate our core philosophy: if we CARE for each other internally, we can be at best to deliver excellent hospitality and CARE for our clients and guests.
The business savvy, human resources leader will be a proactive "do-er", armed with the passion, drive & motivation to create value via direct and personal impact on the business operations. What you will "do" as People & Talent Manager:
YOU will drive the continual evolution and execution of R/A’s People Leader-focused CARE strategy. YOU are laser focused on proactive communication and associate engagement; you champion learning and development strategies that help employees navigate their work environment successully, while positively impacting overall the employee, customer, and client experience. YOU partner effectively with R/A business leaders, while setting the highest quality and service standards; YOU are a people-power champion who encourages, empowers, trains, and develops alongside key leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Owns R/A's CARE People leader engagement strategies in alignment with meaningful workplace experience for all.
- Sets framework and measures & monitors the success of our people programs and talent initiatives
- Partner, coach, and mentor key business team members; you ensure People Leader standards are in place for success
- Ensure consistent and effective implementation of learning & development platforms across the business
- Meet regularly with Associates for feedback sessions and Town Hall Communications of people activities.
- Design, develop and deliver training courses and workshops, to include leadership development and performance improvement modules
- Propose learning solutions to address performance gaps
- Talent Management oversight - focused on succession planning strategies for frontline associates and leadership pathways for all employees
- Partner with Talent Acquisition with a focus on diversifying talent pipelines and developing insights-driven plans for diversity recruitment
Qualifications and Experience
Our successful People & Talent Manager has a proven track record of meaningful, impactful professional accomplishment. Forward-thinking and eloquent, our P&T Manager establishes credibility based on performance and exceptional, tactful interpersonal skills. This individual's actions demonstrate an understanding that our company's culture is value driven and highly entrepreneurial.
Key attributes:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum five + years of experience in People/Human Resources Leadership, Employee Engagement Training, Talent Management, Development, and Learning. Labor relations experience is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in luxury business setting; Management/People experience within the hospitality industry is a plus
- Excellent presentation, partnership, and facilitation skills that drive key learning outcomes and empower application beyond the classroom; dynamic, self-motivated individual who is comfortable speaking in large groups and with all levels of management
- Strategic problem solver, business partner, facilitator of change; you effectively evaluate and problem solve your way forward via emotional intelligence & operational acumen
*Please note - must be open to regular travel (20%) to other sites in portfolio (Miami, Chicago, & Greenwich)
