Culinary Interns:
Are you passionate about food and ready to take the next step toward a career in the culinary or hospitality industry? Join our Culinary Internship program and gain hands-on experience working alongside professional chefs and food service leaders in a fast-paced, real-world environment. As a Culinary Intern, you’ll be immersed in the day-to-day operations of contract food service, developing practical skills and industry insight that will set the stage for your future success.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Support daily culinary operations including food preparation, service, and kitchen organization
- Execute menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and uniform standards
- Assist with receiving, storage, inventory, and purchasing
- Contribute to guest service excellence, innovation, and problem-solving
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Participate in associate learning and development activities
- Gain exposure to the business side of food service, including financials and quality assurance
Learning Objectives:
- Develop awareness, understanding, and practical skills to work effectively in diverse, inclusive hospitality environments
- Gain hands-on experience across a variety of functions within culinary arts and food service operations through observation, mentorship, and active participation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in culinary arts and the hospitality industry
- Enrolled in a culinary program or relevant coursework (preferred, not required)
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have an Interest in One or More of the Following:
- Culinary, Baking, or Pastry Arts
- Farm-to-Fork practices and sustainability in food service
- Reducing the carbon “foodprint”
- Food safety and quality assurance

Hospitality Interns:
Join our hospitality team and gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals across diverse functions. This internship is designed to develop your skills and competencies to thrive in the fast-paced world of hospitality and contract food service. You’ll work closely with leadership within your sector and account, gaining exposure to operations, marketing, guest services, sales and catering, problem-solving, innovation, and client relationship management.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences and client relations
- Provide operational support across front-of-house, back-of-house, catering, marketing, and administrative functions
- Support the execution of operational standards and contractual commitments
- Assist with financial activities, including profit & loss and loss prevention
- Help ensure safety, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety standards
- Participate in associate learning and development initiatives
- Gain experience in people management, including scheduling and time management
- Assist with inventory management and loss prevention
Learning Objectives:
- Develop awareness, understanding, and skills to succeed in diverse hospitality environments
- Gain practical experience through observation and active participation in multiple hospitality functions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in the hospitality and service industry
- Experience, knowledge, or studies related to hospitality (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Preferred Interests:
- Sustainability and environmental impact (e.g., carbon “foodprint,” farm-to-fork practices)
- Quality assurance and food safety
- Contract food service management
This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop foundational hospitality skills while working in a variety of operational settings, setting you up for a successful career in the field.
Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
- The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
