Job Summary

The Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for a dining account, ensuring high-quality food, strong client relationships, and excellent guest experiences. This role leads and develops a team of associates while partnering closely with the culinary and management teams to support daily service, catering, financial performance, and new program rollouts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily dining operations, ensuring service standards, food quality, and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
  • Manage and develop associates while fostering a positive, service-focused team culture.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, guests, clients, and internal departments.
  • Partner with the Chef and management team on menu planning, culinary execution, and food quality.
  • Oversee account financials, including P&L, budgeting, cost controls, and operational performance.
  • Support high-volume production, catering, and special events as needed.
  • Roll out new culinary programs and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety, sanitation, and account expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of foodservice operations management experience.
  • High-volume production and catering experience required.
  • Previous experience managing budgets, P&L, labor, and cost controls.
  • Strong client relationship, leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow with a leading foodservice company.
