Salary: $150,000 - $170,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Plan

Job Summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a collaborative, hands-on Director of Operations to oversee multiple locations and lead teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action, spending time on the floor, partnering with General Managers, and actively shaping day-to-day operations.
 
You’ll serve as a key leader across sites, balancing operational excellence with relationship-building. The Director of Operations partners closely with clients, supports and develops leaders, and drives continuous improvement across service, people, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-unit leadership across several restaurant locations, ensuring operational consistency and service excellence
  • Partner closely with General Managers, offering coaching, guidance, and real-time support in daily operations
  • Stay actively engaged in the business, including regular on-site presence and floor leadership as needed
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients; confidently represent operations in high-visibility interactions
  • Navigate complex or high-pressure situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, streamline processes, and elevate the guest experience
  • Lead, develop, and grow high-performing teams, with a focus on succession planning and internal mobility
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, HR, and support teams to drive results
  • Monitor financial performance, including labor, cost controls, and revenue goals
  • Champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience leading operations across multiple restaurant or hospitality locations
  • A hands-on leadership style with a genuine interest in being present in day-to-day operations
  • Proven ability to coach and develop General Managers and leadership teams
  • Confidence in client-facing situations, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure environments
  • Strong operational acumen, including financial and performance management
  • A proactive, persistent mindset, someone who follows through and drives outcomes
  • Passion for team development, with a focus on growing talent and building bench strength
  • Experience in fine dining restaurants and high-volume hospitality environments
  • Track record of successfully opening new locations or scaling operations
  • Familiarity with multi-site financial reporting and performance metrics
