Job Summary

Step into the next stage of your hospitality career by joining Tatiana as a Floor Manager. This role is designed for individuals ready to grow from a server position into restaurant leadership. As Floor Manager, you will play a key role in running the dining room floor each shift. This includes supporting the team in service execution, seating guests, running food and drinks, checking in with tables, and ensuring smooth communication between the front and back of house. You’ll gain hands-on management experience while helping deliver the high standards of hospitality and service that define Tatiana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage service on the floor, supporting the team wherever needed.
  • Greet and seat parties while managing flow and pacing of the dining room.
  • Run drinks, deliver dishes, and assist with tables during peak periods.
  • Check in with guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support servers, bartenders, and support staff to maintain smooth, efficient operations.
  • Create and adjust seating charts, station assignments, and side work lists.
  • Help organize and lead pre-shift meetings to prepare staff for service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep service running seamlessly.
  • Assist with reservations and walk-ins to maximize the guest experience.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining room.
  • Learn and assist with administrative functions such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a server or captain in an upscale or fine dining environment.
  • Working knowledge of wine varietals, spirits, and classic cocktails.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality and guest service standards.
  • Strong hospitality instincts with a guest-first attitude.
  • Interest in developing leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic familiarity with POS and reservation systems preferred.
  • A passion for learning, growth, and excellence in hospitality.
