Job Summary
Take the helm of Tatiana, the distinguished #1 restaurant voted by the New York Times, as the General Manager and lead an exceptional team in delivering an unparalleled dining experience. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional service, managing client relations, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the restaurant team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Tatiana, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and meet financial targets.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to curate outstanding menus that align with Tatiana's culinary vision and exceed guest expectations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market competition, and customer preferences to drive innovation and enhance the guest experience.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end or fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Solid business acumen, with experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
