Lobby Ambassador - NYC

Salary: $24.00 - $25.00 / hour

Job Summary

As a Lobby Ambassador, you will create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for all clients, guests, candidates, and employees. Serving as the first point of contact, you will manage front desk operations, assist visitors, and ensure every guest has a seamless and positive experience from arrival to departure.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage visitor check-in and registration requests through a centralized inbox
• Escort VIP and high-profile guests to meeting locations as needed
• Operate the main switchboard and direct calls appropriately
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
• Serve as the primary point of contact for lobby activities, questions, and emergencies
• Resolve guest concerns professionally or escalate issues when necessary
• Build positive working relationships with team members and support shared goals
• Provide an efficient and memorable arrival and departure experience for all visitors
• Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, reception, or customer service roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Some college coursework preferred
