Salary: $95,000 - $110,000

Job Summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to lead food and physical safety initiatives across multiple locations for a single corporate client. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

 

This position is NY based and requires 15% travel to Chicago and Miami.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all units adhere to current food safety and workplace safety regulations.
  • Organize and oversee safety training programs across all locations.
  • Schedule and conduct regular site visits to monitor safety practices and compliance.
  • Actively participate in Regional Safety Champion initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
  • Lead the Third-Party Assessment Program, including vendor evaluations and internal self-assessments.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on safety performance and progress.
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with all safety protocols and standards.

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills for training individuals and small groups in safety and sanitation.
  • Deep commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with practical, actionable solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of local and state health codes.
  • ServSafe and valid NYCDOH Food Protection Certificate required; CP-FS Certification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–10 years of kitchen operations experience or 3–5 years of field experience as a safety/health inspector.
