Job Summary

Step into a high-profile leadership role at the front lines of a premier investment bank in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Reporting directly to the Director, the Reception Manager will lead and inspire a team of 9 receptionists, ensuring seamless front office operations while delivering a best-in-class experience for clients, guests, and executives.

This role combines people leadership with operational excellence. You’ll oversee scheduling and coverage, uphold and enhance policies and procedures, and provide administrative support across HR, payroll, recruiting, and project management.

  • Hospitality-driven leader with a passion for delivering true “white glove” service
  • System- and tech-savvy manager who embraces innovation and process improvement
  • Hands-on mentor with early-to-mid-level management experience who knows how to lead, inspire, and develop a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor reception staff while fostering a culture of excellence
  • Oversee daily scheduling, coverage, and front office standards
  • Monitor and coach staff performance, providing clear expectations and feedback
  • Partner on HR, payroll, recruiting, and administrative projects to support the broader team
  • Enforce policies and procedures while continuously seeking ways to improve operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, corporate, or client-facing roles
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven ability to manage, inspire, and grow high-performing teams
  • Skilled in maintaining organization and focus in a dynamic environment
  • Background in process improvement and operations management is a plus
