Job Summary
As a Senior Regional Controller, you serve as a strategic finance partner overseeing multiple business units and supporting operational leadership through financial analysis, forecasting, and performance strategy. In this role, you lead regional financial planning and reporting initiatives while driving operational insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and improving business performance across the portfolio.
You collaborate cross-functionally with unit leadership, corporate finance, payroll, and human resources teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support data-driven decision making. This position combines financial oversight with analytical leadership, operational strategy, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight and strategic support for multiple business units, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational objectives
- Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to leadership teams
- Partner with operational leaders to translate financial data into strategic recommendations that support business planning and decision-making
- Oversee monthly and fiscal close processes, serving as a key liaison between unit operations and corporate finance teams
- Monitor financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance standards, proactively identifying process gaps and implementing improvements

Deliver detailed financial reporting and executive-level summaries for both internal stakeholders and client reporting requirements

Oversee internal audits and contractual obligations to mitigate organization risk exposure
- Provide coaching and analytical support to unit controllers and operational managers to improve financial acumen and reporting accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on financial processes, reporting automation, and data accuracy across the region
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance, MBA and/or CPA an advantage
- Five years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities
- Three years’ experience in a similar operational accounting or financial reporting role a plus
- Previous similar experience in a retail environment also an advantage
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, knowledge of Access, PowerPoint SAP (spreadsheets and financial accounting software) advantageous
- Ability to travel (20%)
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills
