Job Summary:
Location: Based in Newbury Park, CA; oversees multi-site operations across East Coast and West Coast
Travel Required: Regular travel to East Coast and West Coast locations is required
The Regional General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments across various facilities within a Business & Industry (B&I) corporate dining account. This role ensures operational excellence, financial performance, and team development while delivering exceptional service to clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple foodservice departments across a defined geography.
- Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery aligned with company and client expectations.
- Oversee financials including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company standards, government regulations, and accrediting agency codes.
- Hire, train, and onboard new management associates.
- Facilitate management meetings and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Communicate effectively across all levels—from executive leadership to hourly team members.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Maintain high standards in food safety, sanitation, and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:

Education:
- B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
- A.A. Degree with 5–7 years of directly related experience also considered.

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of operational foodservice management experience.
- Proven success in multi-unit management and contract-managed services.
- Experience in retail foodservice operations and marketing.
- Strong leadership in food, beverage, and hospitality industries.

Skills & Competencies:
- P&L accountability and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to travel and manage cost centers on both East and West Coasts.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage at both executive and frontline levels.
- Leadership experience in the food/beverage and hospitality industry is required.
- Flexibility to travel and support operations across multiple geographic regions.
