Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Operations oversees operational needs of the Facilities Department. The Assistant Director III coordinates the tasks of subordinate staff and assures that training of this staff is in accordance with corporate guidelines. Coordinates the duties of the team to meet the needs of the facility, while remaining in line with budgetary constraints. In the absence of the RRM/RM, the Assistant Director III acts as the administrative liaison between key client contacts and the department. This position reports to the Resident Regional Manager or Regional Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve Budget/Financial Responsibilities
• Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies, while keeping costs in line with approved budgetary amounts.
• Oversees and monitors the site budget as a whole, which includes all labor costs, vendor management and other financials.
Operation Excellence
• Establishes standards and work procedures for all Facilites Services and annually reviews as a whole, in accordance with established policies and practices of the company.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate physical condition of facility.
• Provides recommendations for all updates and changes to the facility in areas of control.
• Maintain and support facility goals and objectives relating to client needs.
People Management
• Onboard, train and supervise of all Hourly staff within the scope of the site.
• Conduct regular staff meetings.
• Plan work schedules, hours, areas of work and job duties to ensure adequate facilities services are rendered to all areas.
Administration
• Schedule major project work, assuring that adequate staff and supplies are available to perform said tasks.
• Conducts regular inventory of facilities supplies and manages the ordering of all needed supplies.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
