Job Summary

Summary: 
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy POS Support Technician to join our event-day IT operations team. This event-based role involves monitoring and maintaining all Point of Sale (POS) systems, network cabling, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure in a fast-paced event environment. Physical flexibility is required, including standing, walking, and occasional crawling. 

Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level troubleshooting and technical support for all POS equipment and systems during events.Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly to resolve IT-related issues.Strictly follow all Levy and Compass Group IT policies, standards, and procedures.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; adhere to safety protocols at all times. Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with Levy and Compass Group dress code policies.Perform hard reboots of workstations based on daily open/close lists provided by Operations. Proactively walk event locations to ensure all POS systems are functioning correctly.Communicate with POS operators to confirm systems are operational and troubleshoot as needed. Possess a strong working knowledge of Ethernet network cabling and cable management practices.Understand USB device connectivity and proper use of system ports.Report unresolved IT issues to direct manager post-event before ending shift.Promptly escalate critical IT issues to upper management during events as necessary. Must be available to work all events at Bank of America Stadium, including MLS, NFL, concerts, and more.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and troubleshooting.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable with physical requirements such as walking long distances, standing for extended periods, and occasional crawling.Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
