Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 /year

As a Packout Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of Packout and assist employees to prepare and deliver finished food products to the areas in an efficient, timely and proper manner.
Key Responsibilities
• A Packout manager oversees the stages of production or order fulfillment. Ensuring products are packed properly, labeled, and shipped efficiently and accurately
• Verifies all items in their proper quantity are prepared for delivery
• Monitors staff completion of daily records
• Verifies and submits payroll
• Manages, trains, and develops staff
• Collaborates with Production, Transportation, and Customer Service Team
• Completes weekly inventory
• Monitors and investigates any overages or shortages
• Ensures all tasks for daily contracted orders and down stacking routines are completed by staff
• Participates in food quality meetings
• Verifies food safety, driver and safety log records are completed
• Monitors labeling for all items with proper information
• Practices and enforces all federal, state, and local regulations
• Schedules Maintenance on all equipment
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Provides GREAT customer service to our clients
• Ensuring daily supervision of pack out and driver operations, ensuring goods are packaged correctly, meeting quality standards, and prepared for shipment on time
• Oversees staff, workflow duties, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Supervise, train, schedule, pack out and driver helper employees.
• Monitor productivity and implement processes to increase efficiency
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, customer service team, and shipping departments to meet deadlines
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials
• Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
• Track and report key performance metrics
• Troubleshoot packing issues and resolve workflow bottlenecks
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred
• Minimum of two to four years of warehouse management experience preferred
• Inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
• Ability to stand & walk for extended periods in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 34°F to 40°F.
• Excellent customer services skills and experience
• Knowledge of packing and shipping procedures
• Experience with P&L accountability is highly desirable
• Contract-managed service experience is desirable
• High volume food production background highly desirable
• ServSafe® certified
