Job Summary

Job Description:
Lead the people behind the performance! As Director of Human Resources at UCF, you will oversee all HR strategy, talent operations, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. You’ll be the key advisor to leadership on workforce planning, development, and policy, while championing a workplace culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices

  • Experience with union and non-union environments preferred

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, recruiting systems, and Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations

  • Partner with operations and leadership to align HR strategy with business goals

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and university employment regulations

  • Develop and implement employee engagement, recognition, and development programs

  • Coach managers and team leads on performance management and conflict resolution

  • Manage HR data, reporting, and workforce analytics
