Job Summary

As the Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition Services, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a healthcare dining account, ensuring best‑in‑class service for patients, staff, and visitors. You will lead and develop a team of associates, manage client relationships, and maintain operational excellence across all areas of Food & Nutrition Services. A strong focus on patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, food quality, and financial performance is essential in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, patients, guests, and internal departments.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and management team to develop menus and deliver high‑quality, nutritious food offerings.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the department, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Implement and support new culinary programs and system initiatives across patient dining, retail, and catering.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sanitation requirements.
  • Drive patient satisfaction through continuous quality improvement, service standards, and staff engagement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to support a positive and efficient work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in healthcare foodservice operations.
  • Strong background in high‑volume production and catering services.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, financial targets, and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build client partnerships, and deliver high‑quality service.
  • A desire to grow professionally within a leading healthcare foodservice organization.
