Job Summary:
As our Sous Chef, you’ll partner with the Executive Chef to lead daily culinary operations, develop menus, and deliver high-quality meals for patients, families, and hospital staff. You’ll take a hands-on role in food preparation, team supervision, ordering, and catering while helping create a kitchen that takes pride in every plate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Help lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, food safety, and presentation.
- Partner with the Executive Chef to plan menus and introduce fresh, appealing dishes.
- Supervise, train, and coach hourly associates to build a strong culinary team.
- Support ordering, inventory, food cost controls, and waste reduction.
- Plan and execute catering events with attention to service and detail.
- Introduce new culinary programs in partnership with company marketing and culinary teams.
- Collaborate with hospital partners to support a positive dining experience for patients, families, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent professional experience.
- Progressive culinary experience with kitchen leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in high-volume or complex foodservice operations preferred.
- Catering, institutional, or batch cooking experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food production, sanitation, presentation, and cost controls.
- A hands-on leadership style and a passion for developing others.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and computer-based systems.
- Willingness to participate in client and guest satisfaction initiatives.
- ServSafe certification highly desirable.
