Executive Chef - Palo Alto

Salary:  $110,000 - $120,000 / year

Job Summary

The Executive Chef is responsible for leading all culinary operations for a dining account. This includes managing a team of associates and ensuring all safety, sanitation, and quality standards are upheld. The Executive Chef will oversee menu development, culinary innovation, and execution across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and after-hour special events. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a chef experienced in fine dining, restaurant, and corporate dining environments. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable, creative leader with strong mentoring abilities and a passion for excellence in food and service. Must have a flexible schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost controls and oversee all account expenditures

  • Plan, design, and implement diverse, high-quality menus

  • Purchase and manage inventory efficiently

  • Introduce and execute new culinary programs in partnership with marketing and culinary teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree preferred

  • 3–5 years of culinary management experience

  • Proven success in high-volume production and catering

  • Strong background in cost control management

  • Passion for continuous learning and growth within a leading foodservice organization
