Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including hiring and coordinating subcontractors, partnering with vendors, and monitoring equipment and material inventory. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction regulations, permitting processes, and project management best practices. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong working relationships while delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Lead construction/MEP projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Oversee subcontractors, engineers, and field teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain strong communication and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Apply expertise in mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing construction to drive successful project execution.
  • Travel to job sites is required to perform above tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a Mechanical Contractor
  • Proven background in Engineering and Design/Build projects, including retrofit construction
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state and local building codes and regulatory requirements
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Proficiency in project management software such as PlanGrid, Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and Power BI
  • Valid Driver s License, ensuring safe operations of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
