Job Description:

Pitt Eats is seeking a creative and reliable Photography Intern to join our marketing team. This position offers hands-on experience capturing campus life, events, and special moments that showcase the Pitt community. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through photography, comfortable working independently, and able to cover events on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Photograph campus events, dining openings, student activities, and other special occasions as assigned
• Capture candid and posed images that reflect the vibrancy of Pitt’s campus life
• Edit, organize, and deliver high-quality digital images in a timely manner
• Coordinate with the communications and marketing teams to ensure coverage aligns with project goals and branding standards
• Maintain and manage photography equipment responsibly
• Occasionally assist with creative projects, such as social media content or photo shoots

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods.  Business needs may vary from year to year.
