HR MANAGER OF NEW BUSINESS TRANSITIONS (REMOTE)
Salary: $100k-$110k (to commensurate with experience)
Pay Grade: 15

Job Summary:
The HR Manager of New Business Transitions will partner with senior level sector leadership to design, develop and implement effective people strategies to shape the sector and establish strategic business plans and long-range goals. This individual will be focused on implementing new business strategies in partnership with the Sector Sales Team, Sector Operations Leadership, and Senior Client Partners. As part of the HR team, this person will create people initiatives and processes that will forward the sales goals for the organization. This role will regularly consult with clients on optimal decisions and methods to best support new business transitions across the country. They will continually drive for innovation on how to best solve the People challenges for clients and employees going through a new business transition. This person will lead a team of HR professionals that are focused on onboarding new accounts and opening new business. Championing the people culture is essential. This role reports to the Senior Director of HR for New Business.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and promotes Compass Group culture to enable teams to reach their full potential and propelling the continuation of a culture of respect and caring.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and support teams to ensure we have the right people in the right place to operate and grow the business.
- Ensures engagement plans are in place and diversity and inclusion is prioritized. Promotes a respectful culture, treating each other and those we interact with, with kindness and respect.
- Creates Innovative approaches and looks through a fresh lens to evolve people practices.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and influences others to take action, create buy-in, and be engaged.
- Ensures meaningful analytics are in place to drive business results and uses data to influence outcomes. Identifies any technological impact on business processes to ensure maximum advantage in enabling process analysis, decision making and reporting.
- Leads high performing team of HR professionals in a highly matrixed environment and creates a customer focused organization. This team is responsible for transitions with new business across Compass Group.
- Networks internally and externally to gain insight and provide value to the company and its support services departments, as well as within the surrounding community.
- Consults and Partners with our Sales Team in answering RFP questions, and representing the Human Resource Function in Sales presentations, and Client calls.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- PHR/SPHR designation and other advanced relevant certifications preferred.
- 7+ years’ human resources experience, including 2-3 years exposure to a multi-state, multi-unit environment.
- Operations experience; familiarity with working in a corporate setting; both non-union and union exposure; and championing the efforts of creativity through diverse population a plus.
- Experience in at least two different functional areas within HR highly desirable (ex. Talent Management, Recruitment, Compensation, etc.).
- Financial acumen and ability to anticipate, recognize and define problems from both a global and finite perspective, collect data, establish facts, and draw logical and valid conclusions.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time-nationwide
