Job Summary:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manager of Business Intelligence to support the development and delivery of both scalable and custom BI solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of key reporting projects, acting as a product owner and project manager across the BI development lifecycle, from stakeholder intake and requirements gathering to wireframing, milestone tracking, and final handoff for deployment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical developers, and client success teams to ensure BI tools are developed to meet business needs and delivered with clarity, consistency, and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day product and project lead for assigned BI initiatives, including both scalable platform development and custom dashboard builds.
  • Lead cross-functional BI projects by developing and maintaining project plans, managing timelines and deliverables, and coordinating work across technical and non-technical contributors, ensuring accountability and timely execution.
  • Drive progress and resolve blockers by influencing across teams without direct management authority, proactively identifying misalignment, delays, or risks and facilitating timely solutions.
  • Own communication with project stakeholders, business SMEs, and executives to ensure alignment, visibility, and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct intake and discovery sessions to define business needs; translate requirements into clear documentation, specifications, and wireframes to guide technical development.
  • Coordinate review cycles, manage stakeholder feedback, and support testing and validation to ensure BI solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Partner with the client success team to ensure a smooth transition from development to deployment, including end-user onboarding and support planning.
  • Stay informed on emerging BI tools and industry trends and apply relevant innovations to improve processes and enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field, preferably in a client-facing, consultative, or project management role
  • 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role managing BI or data projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project delivery, including timelines, scope, stakeholder alignment, and execution
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and understanding of dashboard design best practices
  • Strong stakeholder communication and client management skills, including expectation-setting, proactive updates, and alignment across priorities
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional contributors and drive accountability in a matrixed or non-hierarchical team environment
  • Ability to identify and escalate project risks and blockers with clarity and timeliness
  • Experience with food service or hospitality industries a plus
