Job Summary:
The Program Manager will lead and coordinate the development, implementation and success of a variety of cross sector initiatives and programs and others as part of the Strategic Development team. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with the Envision cross functional development team as well as agreed upon subject matter partners and stakeholders to grow, support and evolve these programs and track success metrics and impact. Additionally, the Program Manager will own or support special projects and administrative responsibilities such as the annual Envision Summit Expo coordination, event planning and execution and team coordination and presentation development.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership of the Key Initiatives
- Subject matter expert
- Leads communication efforts and fields all inquiries
- Acts as the liaison between development team and sector partners regarding programming, training, implementation and evaluation of impact of the program
- Support sales effort and client meetings needs when applicable
- Tracks engagement and creates tools for ongoing success including case studies
- Compass Ambassador of the Programs
Project Management
- Provide expertise and management of multiple programs and projects
- Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria.
- Develop and manage project plans.
- Develop, direct, and manage projects from concept development through completion.
- Create and maintain project dashboards for accurate reporting.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate potential liabilities and risks.
- Manage project team deliverables to meet requirements and established timelines.
- Manage project budget process, oversee projects schedules and reconciliations to meet project standards and deliverables that align with sector procedures.
- Monitor project performance against budgets, schedules and milestones.
Execution, Launch & Training
- Support development of core elements of the program and launch plan including: standard operating procedures, communication protocol, budget, success metrics, reporting and more.
- Hands on operations in supporting effort to grow key initiatives
- Ongoing development of tools with key stakeholders such as checklists, job descriptions, training modules, and financial impacts
- Work with Sector Culinary, RD and Sales leads to support ongoing development
Operational Excellence
- Share Best Practices and create processes for scale cross sector
- Establishes and maintains effective internal and external communication to achieve brand, financial and social impact goals
- Create ongoing marketing collateral working with Creative & Comms Team to ensure clarity, quality and alignment with messages, image and identity.
- Create and track metrics for success
- Collect feedback and analyze to positively impact program
- Develops key relationships with core development teams including cross sector leaders, sector operators and support teams including E15, Foodbuy, Compass Digital and other
Strategic Development to grow and evolve program(s)
- Maximize Revenue growth opportunity
- Recognize and develop partnership opportunities
- Program growth and development tools and resources
- Track and Measure Revenues
- Sharing Best Practices
- Research & Development: stay abreast of new outlets, trends and tools relating to program
- Storytelling, Social Media and Communication Strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary & Hospitality Management, Food & Nutrition, or related field required.
- 3–5 years of operational experience in foodservice, with a strong understanding of day-to-day service execution and team leadership.
- Proven strategic thinker with strong project management skills; detail-oriented, agile, and deadline-driven.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Skilled in presenting, training, and facilitating program implementation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in evaluating program outcomes and metrics.
- Experience with multi-unit program rollouts domestically and/or internationally.
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret technical instructions and solve complex problems.
- Effective public speaker and presenter for diverse audiences including associates, managers, and clients.
- Collaborative team player with leadership experience; able to work independently and cross-functionally.
- High energy, maturity, and ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Balances business priorities with best practices and implementation methodologies.
- Willing to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management certification preferred.
