Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst – Insights and Analytics will have the opportunity to mine and analyze data that will deliver insights and trends to our Food and Beverage client, FLIK. You will help bring best practices to the team while collaborating with the stakeholders.  This position is fully remote. You will report to the Manager – Insights and Analytics

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and assess large volumes of data from clients and their source systems using SQL, R, Python and/or similar technologies.
  • Map and trace data from various source systems to solve a given business problem.
  • Analyze and mine business data to identify patterns and correlations among various data points using various statistical techniques.
  • Promote the use of data and analytics to address business issues, including scoping analytics projects, storytelling to stakeholder groups.
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical resources to implement the results of analytics insights to realize business value.
  • Compare internal and external (where applicable) competitive data to provide benchmarking.
  • On an as needed basis, efficiently champion the planning and execution of small analytics projects and effectively communicate the results of these analyses to stakeholders
  • Measure and monitor the impact of various initiatives implemented at foodservice locations
  • Create static and dynamic visualizations to discover and communicate new insights.
  • Aid in creating client-facing presentations on findings, business impacts, and recommendations.
  • Travel periodically to FLIK locations around the United States for stakeholder/team meetings, special events and business development

Qualifications:

  •  2-5 years experience in quantitative, qualitative research and/or statistical/analytical techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, economics, finance, computer science, statistics, or a related field  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in 1 or more of the following toolkits:
    • SQL
    • Python
    • R
    • Tableau
    • Power BI
  • Introductory knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ability to navigate data sets across multiple cloud storage tools 
  • Experience using data visualization tools, visual features of statistical software tools, or PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Great work ethic with a strong sense of urgency to support partners, operators, and stakeholders; able to pivot as their needs and priorities change 
  • Strong communication skills to discuss analyses project steps, timelines, roadblocks and findings with both internal team members and stakeholders
