Position Title: Catering & Bar Manager
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

Job Summary
- Support planning, setup, and execution of catering events, collaborating with culinary and service teams
- Ensure smooth event flow, staffing, and overall guest experience
- Assist with event logistics, timelines, and communication with client partners
- Lead bar operations, ensuring excellent service, consistent standards, and a safe serving environment
- Train, develop, and supervise team members on responsible alcohol service procedures
- Develop seasonal beverage menus, craft cocktails, and specialty drink features
- Manage purchasing of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in partnership with approved vendors
- Maintain inventory systems, stock rotation, and cost management strategies
- Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol laws and RA policies
- Schedule, train, and develop FOH team members supporting catering and bar operations
- Promote a positive, inclusive working environment and coach team members toward growth
- Maintain strong working relationships with culinary partners, client teams, vendors, and service staff
- Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and cost controls
- Monitor bar revenue, waste reduction, and purchasing decisions to support financial goals
- Maintain accurate beverage logs, event records, and compliance documentation
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with CoStar partners and onsite contacts
- Ensure service excellence across all catering and bar operations
- Support communication around event needs, beverage selections, and special requests
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting catering, events, or bar operations
- Knowledge of craft cocktails, wine varietals, spirits, and current beverage trends
- Ability to manage large inventories and oversee cost‑effective purchasing
- Skill in training and coaching teams in service standards and responsible alcohol service
- Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment
- Background in hospitality management, beverage leadership, or bar management
- Familiarity with budgeting, loss prevention, and inventory systems
- Experience supervising a team in food and beverage settings
- Certifications in alcohol service, safe food handling, and/or hospitality training
- Understanding of state and local alcohol service laws
