Job Summary
The Retail Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting hospital retail cafeteria operations across the enterprise. This position focuses on ensuring standards are met, assisting in training and development, driving retail promotions and sales, and supporting retail initiatives to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue in a food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general support for hospital-based retail operations, ensuring consistency and operational excellence.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company retail standards and guidelines.
- Support the planning and execution of retail promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives.
- Assist in the training and development of on-site retail teams to improve performance and service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise-wide retail strategies and initiatives.
- Analyze sales trends and provide feedback to optimize merchandising and promotional efforts.
- Travel as needed to support hospital retail locations within the enterprise.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail/cafeteria operations, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality/food service environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in training, auditing, or implementing retail programs a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Willingness to travel.
