Salary: $26 - $27 /hour

Job Summary

  • Provide the highest quality technical assistance in utilizing collaboration tools, including Teams, video teleconferencing, and video production equipment.
  • Provide the highest quality customer service for clients.
  • Provide customized shows. 
  • Assist Client with room systems ie Crestron or Extron

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:   

  • Responsible for knowing all the features of Microsoft Teams and associated software to provide all level of web-conferencing assistance.
  • Responsible for knowing all the features of MS Teams.
  • Responsible for understanding Crestron and Extron systems 
  • Deep understand of Tri-caster, NDI, and Blackmagic Atem.
  • Must know how to use a computer and operate Cameras
  • Responsible for knowing how to effectively use all video services equipment to support events, including Event Recording, Streaming, Podcasting, and post-production services
  • Responsible for self-training on all updates with software related to service offerings. For example, when Microsoft makes a change to the audio recording capabilities of Microsoft Teams, the technician must learn these new capabilities immediately.
  • Responsible for ensuring that post event summaries are sent to appropriate lead technicians and service desk for purposes of timely post event client communication and service billing.
  • Basic AV maintenance and troubleshooting: technicians must provide basic AV support to get meetings back online. Technical proficiency with video, audio, and projection equipment is required. Ability to use AV diagnostic equipment is also a necessity.
  • Work with service desk to ensure smooth communication of any event logistics specifications and modifications.
  • Track activities and in designated metrics tracking software.
  • Keep clients and event managers highly informed about the progress of support services for their events.
  • Perform the job safely
  • Competent in computer applications – Excel, Power Point, Word, Internet and Outlook, OBS studio, Tri-caster, Blackmagic. 
  • Other tasks may be assigned.

 
Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of one year experience in the AV industry
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Degree in audio, video, or event production a plus
  • Info COMM CTS or equivalent certification a plus
  • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule.
