Salary:  $120000 - $150000 / year

Other Forms of Compensation: 10% Performance Based Bonus

Job Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Support Services brings structure, visibility, and disciplined execution across the portfolio of Support Services projects. As part of the Change Management team, this role connects project execution with readiness and adoption, partnering with workstream owners and cross-functional stakeholders to turn priorities into clear plans, manage dependencies, and keep commitments and decisions moving. 

 

The role requires someone who can create clarity in ambiguous situations, influence without direct authority, and communicate clearly with project teams and senior leaders.

Governance and Decision Management

  • Support the portfolio governance model, including decision rights and escalation paths. 
  • Maintain decision and action logs that document rationale, ownership, and next steps. 
  • Prepare meeting inputs so leaders come ready to discuss trade-offs and make decisions. 
  • Facilitate productive discussions that surface diverse perspectives, keep teams focused on outcomes, and turn agreed decisions into clear ownership and execution.

Technology Program Support 

  • Provide project management support for Support Services technology initiatives, including AirisOne. Technology teams retain ownership of product, rollout, implementation, and related decisions. 
  • Serve as the Support Services coordination point with technology, product, and implementation teams, tracking timelines, open questions, and follow-up actions. 
  • Represent Support Services requirements, constraints, dependencies, and timing considerations in planning discussions. 
  • Integrate technology-related risks, decisions, and readiness needs into portfolio plans, adjusting as requirements evolve.

Reporting and Executive Communication 

  • Maintain clear, current portfolio updates, dashboards, executive summaries, and top-risk reporting. 
  • Translate detailed project information into concise, actionable insights for senior leaders and project teams. 
  • Communicate progress, emerging risks, and decisions required, and flag early when plans change or commitments are at risk.

PMO Standards and Continuous Improvement 

  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve templates, standards, stage gates, and project management tools that bring consistency to how Support Services projects are planned and delivered. 
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve visibility, and strengthen portfolio execution. 
  • Facilitate lessons-learned and after-action reviews following major milestones, and turn insights into practical improvements for future work.

Qualifications

Required 

  • 8+ years of project and/or program management experience, including experience supporting senior leaders and complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, priorities, and dependencies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments, and to learn quickly when facing unfamiliar problems or technologies. 
  • Experience managing portfolio- or program-level governance, including risks, issues, and decisions. 
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across competing priorities in Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, and other partner functions. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into concise, actionable updates for senior leaders. 
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential, leadership, organizational, and people-related information. 
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planner, or similar platforms, along with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or comparable project/program management certification. 
  • Travel up to 20% based on business and organizational needs. 

 

Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience within facilities management, food services, business and industry services, or another field-based operational environment. 
  • Experience supporting technology, transformation, change, or operational initiatives affecting frontline or field-based teams.

  • A successful Sr. Project Manager creates an environment in which Support Services leaders and workstream owners have a reliable view of what matters, who owns it, what is on track, what is at risk, what has changed, and where a decision is needed. 
  • Success is measured not by maintaining tools and processes, but by improving real-world business execution, with projects delivered in a way that leads to sustained adoption. 
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
