Job Summary
Serves as a trusted operational presence during events, supporting execution by guiding event staff based on direction provided by Premium Supervisors and Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive event instructions, priorities, and run-of-show details from Premium Supervisors or Management
- Help guide assigned staff through event execution in alignment with provided instructions and standards
- Serve as a consistent point of direction on the floor to support timing, organization, and service flow
- Reinforce expectations related to service standards, guest interaction, and presentation
- Redirect staff as needed to maintain alignment with the event plan
- Participate hands-on in service as needed to support smooth execution
- Escalate questions, issues, or deviations from plan to a supervisor or Manager promptly
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with event staff to ensure understanding of assignments and expectations
- Support coordination between staff, supervisors, and culinary teams during active service
- Flag guest concerns, service challenges, or operational issues to supervisors in real time
- Help ensure staff are provided with the logistical information needed to perform their roles successfully
- Model professionalism, reliability, and calm under pressure
- Support adherence to dress codes, service etiquette, and event-specific guidelines
- Help maintain a positive, respectful, and organized working environment
- Support teamwork and collaboration during events
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of foodservice or hospitality experience, preferably in high-end catering or premium service.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification and California Servesafe Food Handler’s Card
