Job Summary
Summary: The role of the Premium Supervisor is to ensure all events are produced to the client’s specifications and executed to company standards—with care, precision, and a commitment to exceptional service. This role is not just about operations; it's about creating memorable experiences and bringing people together through thoughtful hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend BEO meetings that correlate with working events
- Review week-of rentals attentively
- Print menu signage and menu cards
- Serve as the point person for client, event planners, and vendors on the day of the event—pre, during, and post
- Double-check all rentals and test equipment prior to event
- Act as point person with Chef for any food-related needs, questions, or issues
- Request fresh produce for bar or product needs from Chef in a timely manner
- Motivate staff to work as a team, supporting each other in a professional, helpful, and fair manner
- Ensure proper clock in/out and breaks for event staff and Temp staff
- Conduct final walkthrough post-event to ensure nothing is left behind and the venue is clean
- Ensure all Levy furniture is clean, in working condition, and returned to its proper storage location
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb
- Ability to transition between sitting and standing positions frequently throughout a shift
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of foodservice or hospitality experience, preferably in high-end catering or premium service.
- Must possess, or be willing to obtain prior to first day of work: California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification and California Servesafe Food Handler’s Card.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills, balanced with the ability to remain professional with high-profile guests
