Job Summary
This role serves as the primary ambassador for the hospitality program at the South Bay HQ campus. The individual will drive engagement, foster community, and elevate the employee and guest experience through curated events, initiatives, and daily interactions. They will embody a culture of hospitality, ensuring every touchpoint on campus feels welcoming, authentic, and aligned with the company’s values.
POSITION OBJECTIVES:

● Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Major Duties
Overall Management
• Teaches and adheres to Bon Appétit’s philosophy, culture and commitment to quality food and service.
• Takes over the ownership of the kitchen.
• Has a Passion for food.
• Ensures all products and purchases meet Bon Appetit sustainability guidelines
• Has knowledge of and enforces the Client/Bon Appétit contractual agreement.
• Campus Presence & Engagement o Act as the visible and approachable leader of the HQ campus hospitality program.
o Serve as a point of connection for employees, guests, and partners, ensuring a consistently positive and inclusive experience.
• Community Building o Design and deliver initiatives that foster community, belonging, and engagement across the campus.
o Partner with ERGs, workplace teams, and business leaders to cocreate authentic experiences that strengthen culture.
• Events & Initiatives o Lead the development and execution of campus-wide events, activations, and engagement programs.
o Curate signature experiences that reflect the company brand, values, and hospitality standards.
Hospitality Program Leadership
o Champion the company’s hospitality vision, modeling service excellence and ensuring program standards are upheld.
o Act as liaison between the HQ campus and the broader workplace experience/hospitality teams.
o Develop and implement training to ensure program standards are upheld across the greater hospitality program (Cafes, MKs, Coffee Bars, Events & Catering).
• Continuous Improvement o Gather feedback and measure engagement to assess impact of initiatives and events.
o Identify opportunities to evolve and innovate the HQ hospitality experience.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
This role translates the company’s hospitality vision into daily reality, ensuring HQ is not just a workplace but a vibrant hub of connection and culture. The role builds community, drives engagement, and elevates the employee and guest experience, directly enhancing company culture and workplace satisfaction. Note: Job duties are subject to change as needed.
FOOD AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Adheres to all Health Department, OSHA and ADA regulations.
● Reports any injury, accident and/or foodborne illness incident for customers and/or staff accurately and in a timely manner to the General Manager.
● Attends monthly safety meetings and participates in safety inspections
Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in hospitality, events, or workplace experience leadership roles
• Proven success designing and launching strategic engagement programs from the ground up
• Strong track record of partnering with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Expertise in leading complex, multi-phase projects with a focus on client and employee experience
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
• High-energy, hospitality-first mindset with a passion for community building
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to shifting priorities
• Experience developing training programs and service standards across hospitality functions
