Job Summary

Summary: The Staffing Coordinator supports the Concessions and Human Resources team by scheduling team members for each event. The coordinator is responsible for staffing staff based upon the event that is taking place. The coordinator helps with the check-in of staff and helps make pay changes based upon clock-in error.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures proper staffing levels and that concessions locations are set and ready for business prior to doors on events days and adjusting to the business during events as needed.
  • Assists with staff check-in before the event.
  • Supports team on event planning and execution.
  • Correct pay changes based upon incorrect clocking in for event.
  • Organize group needs weekly – touch base regarding upcoming events and registration activity.
  • Responsible for setup, collection and auditing of all event paperwork.
  • Participates in general office duties: meetings, cleaning, filing and other similar administrative activities.
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
  • Conducts regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members.
  • Displays a positive attitude towards team members.
  • Maintains a positive relationship with non-profit organizations, the client, location business partners and sub-contractors.
  • Completes all projects in a timely manner.
  • Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
  • Creates legendary experience for guests, team members and clients.
  • Welcomes new non-profit organizations by executing training in partnership with the recruiting coordinator.
  • Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage with staff.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 1 year or more experience in foodservice or hospitality, and 1 year or more of Microsoft Office experience. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
