SPORTS ARENA CULINARY SCHEDULING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

As the Culinary Scheduling Supervisor, you will help keep our Culinary team staffed, organized, and ready for every event. This role manages event scheduling, attendance tracking, timekeeping support, and supplemental staffing while partnering closely with Culinary leadership and HR. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing changing staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Create and maintain Culinary schedules based on event and staffing needs.
• Manage schedule changes, shift coverage, and last-minute staffing adjustments.
• Track and document late arrivals, call-outs, missed shifts, and attendance concerns.
• Track and process team member RTO (Request Time Off) requests.
• Complete timecard edits and corrections to support accurate payroll.
• Prepare and maintain corrective action and disciplinary documentation as directed by management.
• Coordinate borrowed team members based on staffing shortages and event needs.
• Check in temporary staff, verify identification, and confirm assignments.
• Track temporary staff arrival, departure, and hours worked.
• Communicate staffing updates and concerns with Culinary leadership and HR.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling team member and disciplinary information.
• Complete additional administrative and operational duties based on management needs.

Qualifications

• Scheduling, administrative, supervisory, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with scheduling, timekeeping, and computer systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adjust quickly to staffing changes.
• Professional and comfortable communicating with team members, managers, temporary staff, and agencies.
• Dependable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability for Jazz and Mammoth games, concerts, weekends, evenings, and other Delta Center events.
