Job Summary
Summary: WE ARE SEEKING A PREMIUM CLUB BARTENDER WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL BEVERAGE SERVICE TO OUR GUESTS IN ONE OF OUR EXCLUSIVE PREMIUM CLUBS HERE AT THE DELTA CENTER. YOU WILL CREATE A WELCOMING ATMOSPHER, DELIVER PERSONALIZED SERVICE, AND ENSURE THAT ALL GUESTS HAVE A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE DURING UTAH JAZZ AND UTAH MAMMOTH HOME GAMES. YOUR EXPERTISE IN CRAFTING BOTH CLASSIC AND INNOVATIVE COCKTAILS, ALONG WITH EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE HIGH STANDARDS OF OUR PREMIUM HOSPITALTIY OFFERINGS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Prepare and server a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to company standards and recipes in a high-volume club.
- Provide personalized service and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Taking walk-up orders from guests while also fulfilling orders from club server staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area thrroughout the event.
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Handle electronic transactions accurately.
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service per policy and state regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after events.
- Stay knowledgable about upcoming events, menu changes, and promotional offerings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferrably in a high-end or premium hospitaltiy environment.
- Minimum 2 years of full bartending experience with clickers.
- Ability to arrive by 3:30pm for every shift.
- Shifts will be based around Utah Jazz & Utah Mammoth home games, which include weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of wide range of alcohol brands, cocktails recipes, and garnishes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to wokr efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for premium setting.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) Systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a guest-first attitude.
- Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit
- Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
