Job Summary
Summary: WE ARE SEEKING A FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, AND PROFESSIONAL SERVER TO JOIN OUR HOSPITALTIY TEAM HERE AT THE DELTA CENTER, HOME OF THE UTAH JAZZ & UTAH MAMMOTH. THE SERVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING DRINK ORDERS, MAKING SALES, AND PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL DINING EXPERIENCES TO OUR GUESTS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, AND THE ABILITY TO WORK EFFICIENTLY IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.
Key Duties & Responsabilities:
- Warmly greet guests.
- Take accurate beverage orders and relay to bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly and with professionalism.
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquires, special requests, and concerns courteously.
- Maintain Cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous Experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Able to make sales or up-sale bar drinks when applicable.
- Friendly, Attentive, and guest-focused standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based around event schedule.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting trays and carrying moderate loads of 5 drinks or more on a serving tray.
- Reliable, punctal, and professional appearance.
- Willingness to learn menu items and club procedures.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive attitude.
- Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
- Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
