Job Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead a vibrant operation that blends café service, retail offerings, and catered events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, from energizing morning café service to supporting evening and weekend events.
 
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you’ll guide daily operations, support a high-performing team, and create memorable guest experiences across multiple service channels. Schedule: Flexible, including nights and weekends to support catering and event needs.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead day-to-day operations across café, retail, and catering services
  • Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Build, develop, and support a strong, engaged team through hiring, coaching, and ongoing training
  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to deliver high-quality, creative menus and seasonal offerings
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll while ensuring strong coverage for both daily service and events
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, clients, and cross-functional teams
  • Support and execute catering programs and special events, including evening and weekend service
  • Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to launch new concepts and promotions
  • Champion a culture of hospitality, safety, and consistent service excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience leading foodservice, café, restaurant, or catering operations
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-service environment (retail + events)
  • Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and driving performance
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching and team engagement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Experience with high-volume production and catering/event execution
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Background in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field
  • Experience growing or enhancing café, retail, or catering programs
  • Interest in continuous learning and career development within a leading foodservice organization
