Job Summary
We are seeking an HR Admin to join our team and support our HR Partners in the San Francisco area as we continue to grow.
Reporting to an assigned HR Partner, this role assists with the daily administration and operations of human resources functions and duties. Responsibilities for the HR Admin may cover functional areas such as department development, HRIS management, employee relations, training and development, and compensation and benefits administration.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Administers human resources policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and all federal and state legal requirements.
- Manages the new hire process, including data entry into the HR system.
- Ensures meticulous maintenance of personnel files and records in line with company policies and legal mandates.
- Confirms the proper placement and accessibility of required labor law posters for all units.
- Orders and maintains department supplies.
- Performs various general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and handling mail.
- Updates and maintains all employee data within HR systems (e.g., position changes, address updates, pay increases).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred but not required; high school diploma required.

Two years experience working as a Human Resources Coordinator preferred with the retail or hospitality industry.

Exceptional interpersonal communication and management skills.

Strong attention to detail, communication and time management.

Ability to work well with all levels of staff.

Strong organizational, problem –solving and analytical skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities and workflow.

Ability to change directions quickly and to thrive in a fast paced environment

Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client.

Ability to speak a second language highly preferred.

Has a computer skill with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Must process strong administrative skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner.

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
